To illustrate the fascinating marine environment, “Craig” the crab and “Benny” the tompot blenny show how they live and interact with their mates in the watery habitat that they call home. They will open pupils’ eyes to their wonderful underwater world and answer questions such as:
  • How does the crab leave his old shell behind when he grows?
  • Why does the wolf-fish grow a new set of teeth each year?
  • How do limpets survive being left high and dry by the tide every 12 hours?
  • Which animals pull open the homes of their prey and slip their stomachs inside?
  • What eats what in those long marine food chains?
